Stress!!! (But doin nothing abt it)

Had my 2nd night revison class of ASM tonight... Felt like strangling the lecturer, he is making me really confused.. I never use to think that ASM was that difficult until he starts doing and explaining things which seems like Greek to me. AHHH!!!!! And he didnt seem like he was prepared at all and look kinda disoriented most of the time. Another 2 more nights of this, wld definitely make me go crazy by the end of it.

I was planning to wake up early to study today but i only did the former due to what else? None other than Mr Television. Watched from 9am till 2pm, so terrible right? Monday nights was comedy nights on Star World, and since i had an evening class, i didnt manage to catch it on Monday night itself, so watched the repeat today's morning. And i was pleasantly surprised to know that there is a repeat telecast of THE CONTENDER on tuesday noon. Yay!! I dun have to wait till Thursday to catch it if i missed it on Monday. The Contender is definitely my next fave reality show after Amazing Race. I was initially skeptical abt it cos what can a reality show abt boxing protray besides boxing. Boy, was i wrong! It is the raw human emotions and drama that got me hooked. Can u imagine a macho boxing guy cry like a baby after losing the match? I have to admit that, i wld shed a few tears watching the defeated boxer cried his way out of the ring and into their locker rooms. So sad!!!

Behind the fearsome, fierce facade was just an ordinary guy with extraordinary dreams for their family. All 16 of the contenders were there for the same reason, it is to provide a better life for their family. For those married boxers, they dream of having a secure future for their wife and children and for those bachelor boxers, they are doing it for their parents so that their parents dun have to work anymore. The previous episode was so sad, the defeated boxer was crying ter-isak-isak!! A guy so fierce in the ring was crying like a baby cos he cld not provide a better life for his family and his sister. So sad!!! I now look at boxing from a different light due to this show, not only are they dedicated to the sport, they are committed to their family and also a faithful follower of their religion. New found respect for them.

Gosh! I think i know more abt The Contender than my HRM notes!!! Very bad!!! What to do??!! I am a TV addict!! I cant live without tv!! But i also cant live without a good degree!! Hmmmmmm...
