Celebrations!
So here i am blogging after another looong time.... i am just too tired to even switch on my pc whenever i gets home.. and i think due to that, i cant sign in to MSN and i cant connect to Limewire!! So irritated and pissed off!!!! UUUURRRGGGHHHH!!!
But on a lighter mood... went out yday to celebrate Zal's burfday... some of the plans didnt fall thru.. like taking the bum-boat and watchin the fireworks, but nonetheless, we did hava another laughtter-full gathering...
Fiq and pozack came up with so mmany lame and dumb jokes and riddles... we spent so much time trying to guess FuzzyWuzzy... and Azack took the longest time to get most of the jokes... ur true colours have finally emerge!! You are slow!! Hhahah...
After dinner, we wanted to hang out but we ended up walking all the way to City Hall from Swensen at Crown Hotel... slowly walked and talked.... wanted to hang at Starbucks but too bad it was full.. so we ended up giving Zal his 2nd present while standing around calling for cab... heee.. what to do...
Get sthg nice yah Zal for te voucher since we didnt know that u dun really fancy perfume...
On Friday night, i went for the National Camp opening ceremony!!!! It brought back a lot of memories during the 1998 National Camp and my NCC days... siiiiiggghhhh.... it was so fun!!!! Bravo bomb, bravo bomb, bravo bomb to Charlie bomb! SO FUN!!!!!
I was told abt the camp pretty last min and i was totally unappropriately dressed for it.. i was told during lunch that the opening night was on Fri night.. quickly called my mum to get my jeans and shirt prepared so that Rosi could fetch them..
After work, i quickly made my way to Jurong East to meet up with Rosi and Prima... since we needed to be there by 6.30pm and it was already at 6.20pm when i got to Jurong East.. i had to strip inside the car to get into my jeans and shirt... hahah... fun!! I only saw it on tv and i finally got a reason to do it!! HHAHAHAH....
Luckily i was wearing baju kurung, so it wasnt so bad....
The most memorable performance for that night was the Indian delegation's performance.... oh ya... totally forgot to mention that National Camp has now involved other countries too like India, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei and Hong Kong... it should be named International Camp... anyways, back to the performance, i love the dance!!!!! The girls were beautifully dressed and made up!! Their dance was really good!! They were ALL smiling ALL throughout the performance... and its not like those dances u watched for Teachers Day or some sch concert where the girls were pretty embarrassed to shake their hips and butts... those girls were REALLY shaking their hips and butts!!! It was such a delight to watch them!!! After their dance, everyone was applauding heartily.... nice, nice!
Too bad, i didnt have my camera with me, i would have gone snapping at the dance and at the kids... i totally miss those camping days... National Camp was the only camp where it werent that strict.. had our fun at the campfire, boy-watching... oh ya!!! I can still recall that Liza danced with this gatal CLT!!!!! Pretty eeeewwwwww actually!!! hahah.... do u remember that nin? And i saw Sir Raja!!!! Tanglin girls just love him cos he treated us nicely back then when we were in-charged... siiiiggghhh... those were the days.....
