Today was the 1st day of going to work at 8.15am after such a loooonnnggg time.. was really reluctant to get out of the bed but what to do.. and was actually a bit late.. I met Faizal at the lobby while waiting for the rest.. Faizal had already gone up and the credit control told us that they would call when we are needed.. and so, we waited and waited..

When Tabrez finally arrived at ard 9am, we decided to get breakfast.. So there we were having breakfast while waiting for the call.. After the breakfast, we hung out at the cricular seats outside Raffles Tower while the guys smoked.. I was wondering to myself if that was what we were gonna do for the rest of the day.. Faizal had a bright idea to view this remote controlled toy plane that he wanted to buy.. So there we were wandering in Robinsons in the early morning while pple were still rushing to work and we were shopping instead.. After making the purchase, we headed down to the circular seat again and began work on the plane.. And thats when our adventures begun.. hahah..

The guys started to play with the plane and it was flying all over the place and there was once it landed beside the road, and thats when Shaipul came up with and ingenious idea to go to the Padang to fly the plane.. While making our way there, we decided to make a detour and headed for the open walkway beside the Cenotaph instead..

When we got there it was pure madness and laughter.. can u imagine 4 adults in the middle of the walkway flying a toy airplane.. and the passerbys were laughing and smmiling at us.. hehe.. some even stopped, looked and even helped us picked up the plane.. We took turns in flying the plane and when it was my turn, hehe.. it had a superb flight.. It was the longest flight among the boys but also the furthest one.. So much further that it landed on the road(the 2nd lane, to be more precise).. Luckily the werent too much traffic, Tabrez was such a hero-wannabe that he went on the road and stopped the lorry from crushing it... heheh.. lucky!

Then we decided to go further up, much more nearer to the Cenotaph to avoid unexpected emergency landing on the road.. I decided to just stand one side and let the boys have their fun.. There was once when Shaipul was flying the plane, the plane actually crashed into my rear end.. haha.. so i picked the plane up and threw it in the air and it took an unexpected detour and head straight to Tabrez's knee.. hahaha.. Ja, u should have been there lah!! U would cry endlessly!

The highlight of the afternoon was when Shaipul was flying the plane and it got stuck on the tree.. We were like thinking of any ideas on how to get it down.. we tried throwing a stick at it, shaking the tree and eventually climbing the tree and shaking it at the same time.. hahah.. and poor Faizal, he was the one doing the climbing.. After we managed to get hold of the plane, everyone were paranoid with red ants crawling inside out side cos there were ants on our shirt and pants.. heheh.. oh ya, the plane got stuck on the trees for abt 2 more times before we decided to change location..

We decided to just fly the plane at the open field behind the Cenotaph, in between Suntec and Raffles City.. heheh.. so funny.. The plane nearly landed on the road but Faizal managed to manuerve it safely to open field.. and i again flew the plane too high and got it stuck on a higher tree yet again! But luckily, there was a strong wind and the plane came tumbling down.. I was telling Faizal that his plane has 9 lives cos no matter what happened, it still came down fully intact..

At abt 1pm, we decided to go for lunch and during lunch, Tabrez decided to get himself a plane too.. After accompanying Tabrez to get his plane, we decided to just hang out at the lift lobby and wait for the long-awaited call from the credit control.. We were surprised when we reached the lobby, there were so many Traffic Police and Policemen at the lobby and there were several white Mercs parked outside.. We later got to know that India's President was in town.. We just sat down there and witnessed the whole team getting ready for the President.. And our unintended wait actually paid off when we got a glimpse of him.. After the whole spectacle, we decided to head home cos the long-awaited call didnt happen.. Wasnt my day at work fun?!
