Got back lil later than the normal hours to due to some error in the system. The rest of the branches were not too bad but for Jurong branch, it was totally down since 1pm. When Larry and I got back from lunch, we could not even connect to the eBao system, therefore, we had to issue manual receipts to the customer. I have to say it was pretty interesting to see how things are down without technology for eg, issuing cover note, manual issued policy loan or self-wrote the Surrender Discharge Voucher. But i gotta say, it sure was leceh after that.

The system was down for 4 hours while the LTA connection speed was crawling, i think it was much, much slower than crawling. Having a customer sitting directly in front of me for a long period of time waiting for their road tax is pretty awkward

After opening hours, we had to hurriedly update all the transaction unto eBao and print their policy document. When the network was down, it just reminded me of my working days in SGX. The only difference is that there is no way in hell that they wld allow us to leave work early. Gosh! How i miss those days...

Gotta work tmr and hopefully there would not be any system error cos its Saturday, and we would be expecting a long queue.
